Full time contract specialist, mother, military spouse, veteran, aerial arts lover, French Bulldog obsessed, coffee aficionado and lover of snuggles. I absolutely must keep moving, stay busy and live life to the absolute fullest. I have deep facial lines to prove my heavy expressions and hilarity!
Photography is a passion that I never imaged as a business. I decided to learn photography to capture beautiful portraits and moments for my daughter and her pageantry adventures. A very close friend asked me to photograph their hospital birth of their first and only child. I was SO hesitant as a very amateur photographer and really wasn't seeking to do photography as a career or business. Little did I know that experience would completely change my life!
THAT WAS IT FOR ME. I loved capturing beautiful pictures of my daughter and family. However, photographing a birth was really what changed my heart and mind. I absolutely fell in love with the feeling of capturing once in a lifetime moments for other people. It was raw, magical and quite frankly I felt like I was part of those moments as FAMILY. To have that ability to be so close with those memories for another family was truly a beautiful feeling.
I started offering pro bono sessions for my neighbors and close friends. I am sure I drove some crazy with my new found passion so I am grateful for their grace and patience. I completely submerged myself into photographing everyone and anything I could. I just couldn't get enough. After 6 short months, I decided to take a leap and launch my photography business on a limited bases.
If I knew that in only that short amount of time I would be referring customers to other photographers, I would have sincerely been in shock and giggled. My photography adventure absolutely took off and every since that moment I have delved, dived and drenched every piece of information and improvements to help my clients gain the best experience possible when choosing me.
